Have you ever applied for a job that had not yet been created? That's basically what I did last week. But, from what I've been told, paperwork is being processed and I can officially 're-apply' for the new position before the end of this month. After talking with HR on the phone, I am very interested in this newly developed position. So, IF I am offered the position, I anticipate going to work sometime in October. In the meantime, I will continue meeting with girlfriends and planning adventures for our friend AK when she arrives for a quick visit later this month.
Teacher workshops have come to a close and students arrive on Sunday. C has enjoyed reconnecting the old teachers and meeting the new ones. He will be going out for dinner with all male teachers this next week for an Iftar dinner. Iftar is the meal/time which traditionally breaks the daily Ramadan fast. Please be thinking of him as he works to engage the students through interactive learning.
